What we collect

We collect information you provide in registrations, award entries, table requests and partnership enquiries. This may include your name, firm, role, email, optional telephone number, interests, nominee details, evidence and messages. We record submission timestamps and consent.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, administer entries and judging, organise attendance and discuss partnerships. Processing is based on your consent, steps towards an agreement where requested, and our legitimate interests in administering the Awards securely and fairly.

Registering interest is not consent to unrelated marketing. We do not sell your personal information. Shortlisted or winning entry details may be published with the permission provided at submission.

Access and service providers

Access is restricted to authorised organisers and, where appropriate, judges and service providers supporting the Awards. Hosting, storage and email providers process information on our behalf. Where information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards are required.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as necessary to administer the Awards, handle related enquiries and meet legal obligations. Access to submissions is restricted, and public visitors cannot read other submissions. Do not include sensitive personal information or confidential third-party material without authority.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, object to relevant processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact Caitlin.Andrade@sifs.co.uk to exercise these rights.

You may raise a concern with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner or, where UK GDPR applies, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
